Designed and Made In-House

Every SEEDDESIGN collection is developed and manufactured in-house. Designers, engineers, and production teams work closely together throughout the process, from the first sketch and prototype to manufacturing and final inspection.

Supporting the North American Market

SEEDDESIGN operates its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Taiwan. The company also has a U.S. distribution facility and stocking program in Seattle, Washington.

Through its Seattle operation, SEED DESIGN LIGHTING provides reliable product availability and project support throughout North America. The facility serves interior designers, architects, lighting retailers, hospitality professionals, and commercial project teams looking for contemporary lighting backed by an established manufacturer.

Our Story

Designer Meiric founded SEEDDESIGN with a vision to bring together distinctive form, useful functionality, and lasting construction.

In 1992, SEED DESIGN introduced UFO, its first lamp for the European market. A few years later, the company created JOJO, a height-adjustable pendant light with a simple form and an intuitive function. JOJO became one of the brand’s signature designs and remains an important part of its design history.

As the company grew, maintaining consistent manufacturing standards became increasingly important. In 1997, SEEDDESIGN established its own factory. Bringing design, engineering, and production closer together gave the company better control over product development and manufacturing quality.
