Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, SEEDDESIGN brings over 35 years of experience in lighting design and manufacturing. Every lighting collection is designed and manufactured in-house, allowing the company to maintain consistent quality, thoughtful functionality, and refined craftsmanship across its products.

In addition to its Taiwan headquarters and manufacturing operations, SEEDDESIGN also operates a U.S. distribution facility and stocking program in Seattle, Washington, providing reliable support for interior designers, architects, retailers, and commercial lighting projects throughout North America.

SEEDDESIGN was founded by designer Meiric, whose vision was to create lighting that combined striking aesthetics, innovative functionality, and long-lasting construction. In 1992, the brand introduced its first lamp, UFO, to the European market. A few years later, JOJO, a height-adjustable pendant light, followed and became one of the company’s signature designs. To ensure higher manufacturing standards and product consistency, SEED established its own factory in 1997, giving the company greater control over design, engineering, and production quality.

Today, SEEDDESIGN is recognized for its contemporary lighting collections featuring clean lines, warm illumination, and timeless modern aesthetics. Over the years, the brand has become appreciated by many interior designers, architects, and design-conscious homeowners who value thoughtful design, reliable quality, and lighting that enhances the atmosphere of a space.
